Cherya – She is the one who never lies and keeps
her promise (but in a circumstance of tragedy, she keeps calm and uses her judgement to chose to lie ,to save her family)  Cheronta - He is the one , who for his greed slips and lies.
Billie - She is the one ,
who pretends to help but
asks things in return which is very immoral.
 The sun/Moon – A silent spectator of the whole story.  Nowhere the story mentions its presence. But everywhere in the illustrations you can see him watching/reacting. This is to emphasize that whatever we do, even though we think nobody is watching but somebody is always- our conscience.
